Did you know that your Octavia has hidden features that the VAG group have locked in your cars memory. Ever wanted to turn on Corning fogs? Want to upgrade your exterior and interior lights to LED’s? Want to get better functionality from your heating and air-conditioning? Do you have warning lights on your dashboard? Or do you want to change your engine response settings?
You can can buy a VCD reader that plugs into your OBD port and with programming and codings you can change a vast number of functions on your Octavia.
We have tried and tested codes that work on a number of settings which if done correctly can alter not only your cars performance but also appearance.
After months of research, speaking with owners, trying and applying modifications, we feel we have created a Top 5 list of must have modifications that all cars should have. This is by all means not an exhaustive list and we are always looking for new modifications to make.
Maxton Design or Rieger Tuning
There are many aftermarket bodywork modification company’s but the biggest two in the Octavia scene are Maxton & Rieger. So who are they and what do they do?
You’ve taken delivery of your Octavia vRS, you’ve driven a few hundred miles smiling all the way, looked out of your window a number of times to make sure it’s still there and looks just as good, decided to give it a very good clean and taken your vRS for another drive. You then decide to remove items that are not required. A big item is the owners manual that takes up a lot of space In your glove box, so you put it in a safe place.
Months later you need to refer to the manual, and, like everyone else, can’t remember that safe place. Well, don’t panic or despair. Skoda have kindly uploaded an electronic copy of the manual to their website. The manual is for all Octavia models and specifications.
Click on the link below, which will take you directly to Skoda’s owners manual section without the need to search their website.
We are holding a stand at TRAX Silverston on the 6th October 2019 and need sponsorship and support. We would like to have Flags, Banners and Boards advertising the club but these do not come cheap. We are not in this for Profit and run the club on sponsorship. Every little will help.
